I reasently put a short ram intake on my car and now it whrn I come to a stop of push in the clutch the car goes down to about 1000 RPM and then it bounces fron about 800 to 1100. It does this both cold and warm. Never had it before I put on the new filter. One problem I had was I put the mass air flow sensor in backwards (dumb) and the car ran like shit for a day untill I figures out why. Has this done anything to the MAS. Another thing I notised was when I took off the plastic air silencer right by the oil dip stick I notised a kind of V-shaped valve with tow hoses on then one big (about an inch and the other manybe a 1/8) was really loose hooking back into the vavle covers. It is on the left side of the engin (looking at it from the front)What is this and would it cause the idle surges?
