You will fit right in. The NG900 is friendly for the DIYer. It also has room for mods and upgrades. The car is stylish, powerful, economical and nowadays, inexpensive.
Maintenance is the most expensive part of ownership, and being that you are a DIYer, this is probably something you are accostumed to.
The downside is that purchasing one is a one way street. Their resale value is such that you are stuck with it once you get one. This is not necessarily a bad thing. There are a few maladies on these vehicles which by now are very well described, diagnosed and repairable by a novice-medium DIYer. There are a few advance problems that can arise, but you can avoid those by purchasing a vehicle with a good service history.
I certainly do not regret my purchase.
