Start with the usuals. First, trace all the coolant hoses, hands on (watch out if they're hot) to check for leaking hoses, and feel where they attach. The clamps are well known to come loose, so tighten all clamps. You may need to replace hoses and/or clamps.
With the engine running (great advice that just solved my problem a month ago) get under the hood with a good light and look for leaks. Engine must be warm so thermostat is open and coolant circulating through all the hoses. Sometimes a slow leak will not drop all the way to the garage floor, it will get soaked up in grime or evaporate, so you need to have the engine running to see / feel it drip (hot, watch out).
I just replaced my coolant reservior, the nipples where the hoses connect were basically rotted through and leaking, old plastic, it fell apart when I removed one hose, so the car was out of commission for three days waiting for the part, be sure you have alternate transp. if you fiddle with it.
Good luck.
