Thanks for the info on the insert. I'll talk with my mechanic. I don't have any space, tools or time to DIY it. I'm just going to get the car running, have the a/c condenser replaced and then drive it around 5k per year as a "smoker". I'm buying a Porsche Boxster on friday, which I will do around 10k per year. Running that should cost me about $600 per year, rather than the $300 per month for the Saab. All in all, after 27 months and 40k miles, I just see the NG 900 as being cheaply made with inferior parts and therefore too expensive to run versus residual value. My family has had a lot of cars over the year and nothing has cost as much to run as this thing. I don't know if I'm over the hump with bills, but I don't want to take that chance.
