my 96 setc has the same oil leak for about 5 yrs / 35K miles. Stealership said the rear bearing seals was shot and wanted about $1K to repair. I have let it go although I have seen posts suggesting this type of oil leak may damage the rubber in our engine / tranny mounts??? I have replaced two engine mounts so far but I am not sure if this is due to the oil leak or jsut normal wear and tear
hope this helps
