Neutral Safety Switch Alignment

Ok, I am finally going to tackle this switch tomorrow (Fri 12/24). I bought a new switch and have the excellent instructions with pictures from M A Mattiaso.
The only further info I read on this was that the alignment of the switch after (or during) installation was tricky and not covered particularly well in the Haynes manual.
Anyone who has done this have any further advice on this before I get involved. I may or may not be able to russle up a helper tomorrow. If I am solo can this still be done?? Thanks for any help - Happy Holidays to everyone!
