Hi Sean. When you say "the hose" there are several. Going from memory, there is a lower hose from the bottom of the radiator. Clamps on either end may need tightening or hose may be old and seeping even though it's hard to see a distinct crack (that hose doesn't last forever and these factory clamps are said to be iffy). There is a hose on the other side of the rad at the top, the upper rad hose: clamps on either end may need tighening or hose may need to be replaced also. There is a hose (smaller) at the bottom of the coolant reservoir. Could need tightening. There is the thermostat housing (metal shield) with gasket and thermostat inside. Could be leaking from there?
Perhaps before you replace or retighten any of these, you could do some systematic trouble shooting for a day or two. Say, by taping a paper towel around each of those areas..two ends on each hose. Then see which one is soaked a day or two later...hint hint... that's where the leak is.
You could look on your driveway but sometimes the coolant hits the engine and burns off and doesn't make it to the driveway.
Just some suggestions for you. Hopefully it's just one of these hoses or clamps and not a head gasket or something.
