Be sure to read NOTE at the end of all of this for perhaps a trivial solutiuon to your problem.
I think that this would work. You would have to figure out what belt length you need and then you would have to find out if such a belt existed. You can also try to find a length suitable for a short belt configuration as well.
EPS lists two belts, pix shows belt with no AC.
with AC 4904728
--------4395406 <-- presumably the non AC belt
I do not think that any non AC NG900's were ever sold in North America, so you might not find that dealers have that non-AC belt in their parts system.
Even though eeuroparts does use Saab's diagram for the belt on a non AC application, they only list one belt and it is the 4904728 P/N.
If you google for [4395406 belt], you will see that this belt is listed on around 3 parts sites in Europe. See the link which implies that the requied belt is: 6K-2000 So it would be worth your time to see if you can find a 6 rib belt which is 2000mm and try that. That google would find more info if you knew the name for "belt" in different languages.
I would install that belt and then leave the AC compressor where it is now. That will leave the rest of the system sealed from the elements. Remove the fuse for the compressor. No point in energizing the AC compressor clutch.
NOTE: If the A/C compressor is siezed, but the clutch free wheels as designed when not energized, I would simply disable the power to the clutch as described above and leave the same belt and everything else as is. Check the fuse box under the hood. The A/C compressor fuse should be #5, 15AMP. But check the legend on the diagram on the bottom of the cover.
