Buy Bon Ami Brand Cleaning Powder, the "Hasn't Scratched Yet!" baby chick trademark dry powder cleanser, made by the Faultless Starch/Bon Ami Company. Use a garden hose to wet the windshield then apply a small amount of Bon Ami to a wet sponge or soft cloth and clean the windshield. Let the Bon Ami do the work. Do not apply much pressure to the sponge or cloth. Just gently scrub the entire windshield. Thoroughly rinse the windshield and surrounding paint and dry the windshield with a soft cloth. DO NOT USE Comet or Ajax as they WILL scratch the glass.

An alternative to Bon Ami is Griot’s Garage Glass Polish or Fine Glass Polish.

Fro Windshield Wiper Blades, I have not tried the Trico Innovision beam blades but have tried most other brands of regular windshield wiper blades, including the silicone rubber wipers like SilBlade and PIAA. The best wipers I have found are the Bosch MicroEdge Excel. These only come as a pre-assembled frame and blade unit, not as refills. They work very well and last for a year or more. Periodically wipe the rubber blade portion with a cloth and glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to clean away the accumulated road grime.
