In that area you will find:
1. Lower Radiator Hose
2. Power Steering Pump
3. Water Pump
All of those are sort of "close" to the area you describe. However, none of these have a fluid that is both "greasy" and clear! If they are greasy that would suggest oil from one of the above sources, who knows maybe from the AC compressor, but oil nevertheless. The odd thing is most of the oils used in Saab have some color to start with!
If it is not oily, but is coolant, even then it should have some coloration to it. Either blue or green usually.
