Hey guys. Thanks for the feedback. To be a little more specific and to answer a couple of questions. The noise is similar to before doing the conversion but not nearly as bad. The pulley that I replaced was pretty dry and rotated very easily once I took it off. The sound is a high pitch whine or hissing sound that you hear immediately upon starting the engine if it is cold. That lasts for 30 seconds or so and then the first few minutes of driving you can hear it when you pass about 2500 RPM when accelerating. You don't hear it once you are up to speed and the RPM's back off. This is not the screeching sound that I heard a couple of years ago before my idler pulley went out and I ended up on the side of the road waiting for AAA. When I have had the hood up and had a friend rev the engine, the noise comes from the side of the engine where the serpentine belt is, but it is difficult to distinguish the exact location. Sometimes it seems as if it is coming from or underneath the area of the engine of the two passenger side pistons. Hope that clears things up and you guys might be able to pinpoint it a little better.
