You can cut the old clamp off, and put on a new one from any auto part store, or pay someone about $20 to do it.
Exact match on the battery would be a group 47 battery size. There is no exact match in the Optima line. Optima 34R will fit, and is very popular with most Saab "turbo boys" (no disrespect intended), it has about 30-40% more reserve capacity than a typical group 47 (so does the regular 34R-this is a function of size, not label). It also looks really cool with the read top and all.
Reserve capacity is how long your car will run on battery alone after your alternator fails (if you care about that).

The MT47 is about half the cost of an SC34R, and you can get it discounted almost everywhere. It is all black and does not look nearly as cool as the redtop SC34R tho (grin). It does have inspection covers for the individual battery cells so you can check fluid level.
