Hello,
I am looking to reset my ECU for my 1994 900s. I need to have my emissions test done by the 28th. I just got this information from the (corrupt) State of Connecticut DMV:
Test Procedures
Tests For Vehicles 1995 and Older
Older vehicles are tested using a method called ASM 25/25 or Acceleration Simulation Mode. This test requires using a dynamometer, a treadmill-type simulator of real world driving conditions. It also requires the testing inspector to insert a sensor-probe in the vehicle's tailpipe to test the vehicle's emissions.
Another possible test for vehicles 1995 and older is the Pre-conditioned Two-Speed Idle Test, which also uses a tailpipe probe to measure emissions while the vehicle's transmission is in neutral.
What fuse number do I have to pull to reset the ECU so I can have this damn test done or can I just undo the battery? Thanks for all your help. Matt.
P.S.
The State of CT Emissions program had been shut down for over a year beacuse of massive fraud and corruption by the mechanics/testers. They just restarted it. It was basically a shakedown to get a lot of money out of people. I am hoping it has changed.
