Do a search on the V6 engine here, lots of discussion on this. I'd say it's a rare find to get one with over 120K and the original engine. If the V6 was properly maintained, then it may be ok, taking into account that it has VERY high mileage, and any car with that kind of mileage may have frequent problems.
The 2.0 4-cyl turbo engine is the most reliable (and most powerful) of the engines in this car. 2.3l non-turbo 4-cyl has some problems with sludging and balance shaft sprockets exploding inside the engine, but the V6 seems to be the worst with timing belt and pulley problems.
Im sure the V6 owners will start flaming me now.
