I found that replacing the rear shocks made the biggest difference in ride quality. Front strut replacement (do the mounts and bearings too) helped reduce bodyroll. Don't buy KYB's or Monroe's...cheap junk. I went with Sachs/Boge, which is the OE manufacturer. The front struts come in soft and firm varieties...I recommend the firm, which is closest to OE. Koni's are really nice too.
