The cleanliness of the trunk is a giveaway to how someone took car of a car. You cannot simply empty your trunk.....it has to be clean and relatively dust-free. Only regular vaccuming will give a buyer what he's looking for....not an attempt after years of ignoring. Scratches on the bumper by the hatch shows that things were dragged over the bumper rather than lifted over it. Inside driver and passenger door panels are also somewhere else to look.....did the driver open the door and finish the opening process with his foot? Interior carpeting and seats is another place.....is there dust embedded within stitching and/or does the carpeting have stains. Some sellers take their car to a detailer to have it spruced up, but this has an artificial look to it as compared with an owner keeping on top of cosmetics on a regular basis. In my opinion, the owner who tends to all of this stuff on a regular basis rather than as needed, also takes very good car of the car mechanically. Every vehicle I've ever sold, car or motorcycle, has always sold to the first looker. Good luck.
