Hello all,
I am going to get some new tires for my car shortly. I will be putting these tires on my Viking rims and I will be purchasing tires sized 205/50/16. All the tires I am looking into are V rated +. I am looking at 4 different tires.
BF Goodrich g-Force sport - These look nice, have a treadware rating of 340, and only cost $73.00 dollars a piece on TireSavings.com.
Fuzion Zri - I have never really heard of them, they also have a decent treadware rating of 320, and are only $69.00 dollars.
Kumho ECSTA 711 - $52.00 dollars a piece, yet the treadware rating is 260. I have heard they are good for Saabs, but are they going to last over 20,000 miles?
Falken Ze 512 Ziex - Highest treadware rating at 360 and only $73.00 dollars a piece. The only all season I am currently looking at.
Now, here are some questions. What would be the best bang for the buck? I like to drive a bit sport sometimes and fast. I live in New England and next year I am defintely getting snow tires, that is why I am considering snow tires. But, in the summer I drive a lot and in the fall I will be commuting to college, so I am going to need something that lasts. For those who have had these tires in the past, about how many miles can I expect these tires to last with 5,000 mile rotations? Tell me your opinions and all from your experiences. Thank you very much!
