Axle End in Transmission

'95 SE Conv. VIN S7000754- When putting in my transmission this summer, I neglected to double check the parts diagram for the transmission seals and forgot a few parts. I know on the drivers side there is a lock ring, an o-ring, a retaining clip all inside the seal. I don't recall if the passanger side axle had the grooves in the end of the axle for the lock ring and retaining clip. Have tried to get an answer from the dealer, but they can't tell me 100%, as Saab did away with this set-up at some point during the model year. What I want to avoid is pulling the passangers side apart if the ring and clip do not need to be installed. I have an outter CV boot out and will correct the drivers side as part of the axle removel. Anybody know for sure if the passangers side has the same set-up.
