We almost bought one (9-3 vert)last fall but wife got the 2005 A4 Cabriolet instead (we have an excellent Audi dealer here, so-so Saab outfit)and it was cheaper. I have to say I really like the A4 vert. So far, at 3k, she likes it more every day. Some cars grow on you, and others you grow to hate. I still like my 94 SE better than my 00 9-3, maybe because its a coupe instead of a sedan.

Wish you could have seen my wife's report card on her 2001 Audi TT Roadster, I could gage what was going on when she started to prefer my old 94 SE with the stiff clutch;

0 miles-loved it,
2500 miles- still loved it,
10,000 miles- wearing a bit thin, 6 spd and no low end torque becoming a pain in daily traffic
20,000 miles- a major irritant, too cramped, too noisy, problems set in
26,000 miles- dont have to look up tow truck driver anymore, know the number by memory
26,500 miles- lease over, thank God

94 900 SE - 150k
00 9-3 SE - 63k
05 A4 Cv - 3k
