I have the 13mm bolts holding the pulleys on and they aren't too hard to remove. Getting the lower bold back on the engine is the real pain.
When I bought my '97SET it had the cheap Korean made upper ribbed pulley. It didn't make very much noise but it wobbled on the axis and would spin freely when the tensioner was released. I was curious about this pulley because it is constructed differently from the SAAB OEM version. It looks like the bearing is replacable because there are two retaining clips on each end. I made it useable again by inserting an additional C clip to take up the slack. It now lives in my trunk as a spare because I don't really trust it for full time use.
