I am starting to think that either I am dyslexic or I do not get enough sleep. I did the installation this weekend of the front and rear suspension (Koni sports and H&R Springs). It came out ok. Of course, there were some minor problems.
1. Forgot to add Anti-Freeze to the strut insert area.
2. Broke the ABS sensor plastic stud that holds the sensor in place.
3. Broke 1 ABS mounting screw.
4. Broke the KYB strut mount stud (1 of 3 broke) due to overtightening.
5. The wheel is a little off center to the right. About 2 degree but enough to be noticeble and annoying.
6. Forgot the sealant in the Koni stuck bushings in the rear.
I am probably going back to the stock strut mount (on one side, KYB on the other). I have not decided. Any ideas or suggestions? I am a little hesitant to get new Saab strut mounts. The ones at Eeuroparts are ~100 dollars and mine looked to be in great shape. The only thing I noticed, was the bearings were starting to leak grease. Other than that they look great. You got to love CA when it comes to cars, they look fantastic under the hood. No rust to worry about.
Any ideas? I appreciate your suggestions.
