Do you have door speakers? Stock rear 6x9s? Do you have the amp? My guess is that the 900s has the wiring harnesses and mounting hardware present. It may be easiest to install the amp in the stock location and tie the rear speaker wires into the output. I do not know how much this will do for you though. The amp has a low pass filter built in, so you will only get low freq to the rears.
I have recently gone overboard on my system. I installed 4" MB Quart two ways in the dash and Alpine 3 way 6x9's in the rear deck when I first bought the car. It sounded pretty good but I was looking for more. I bought a 2 channel amp to bring up the power to the rears and ended up blowing one of my door speakers. I replaced the door speakers with MB Quart 6.5" Component speakers. It was cheaper to buy component speakers than it was to buy good mid-bass woofers. I then decided to forego the stock amp entirely and upgraded my rear amp to a 4 channel. The doors and rears are fed by the amp and the dash are fed by the head unit. It sounds much better than it did. Now to decide where to mount the component tweeters...
