The Saab oem hoses stood up relatively well in my car up to 8 years and 100k miles.
The small u-shaped hose at the water pump was replaced some time ago when other work was being done. Upper radiator hose started swelling and leaking at 84k miles and was replaced. The rest are original, but some did leak at the clamps and had to be tightened over the years.
At 100k miles I was planning to replace most of them when I get to it. Saab hoses seem softer than the aftermarket ones when you sqeeze or clamp them. The Mackay hoses I have received so far from europarts have a thicker wall.
The original clamps have rounded edges. I have been avoiding replacing them with the cheap ones with sharp edges found in most parts stores. They look like they would cut the Saab hoses easily.
