I've been running 17" on my NG900 for a year now (with 225/45/R17 tires).
No rubbing. Looks great, but I am seriously considering going back to 16".
Unless your pressure is < 25, the ride is very uncomfortable. Plus they make the whole car rattle like a cheap trolly cart. (I did not even know it could be that rattly). When I put the winter tires on (185/65/R15), my car feels entirely different: cushy, somewhat swooshy, very quiet. No sqeaks, no creaks, no rattles.
My experience with SAAB wheels before was not good. I had 16" viking wheels (new), all developed slow leaks within a year, and turned into a major and persistent nuisance. On one, the tire burst while I was driving -- on a clean and even road. That was the final straw. I throw them all out. (The garbage collectors actually refused (repeatedly) to pick them from the curb -- I had to take them up to the city recycling center myself). Stick with the aftermarket.
