Aaron is correct. As long as the alarm is not set, you can clear all the remotes and program up to 4 for the car. If the alarm is set, no joy. You must get a new Alarm ECU and start from scratch.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS have at least two remotes programed to the car.
There is also no limit to the remotes that came be programed to the car, only just 4 can be programed at any one time.
For exmaple, I bought the car used and it has no remotes, but starts and the Alarm LED is flashing when I lock the car. I buy 2 remotes and program the Alarm ECU to accept them. I lose those 2 remotes while the car is in my garage with alarm unset. I get 4 more and program the Alarm ECU to accept them.
Good luck,
Steve
