Hello, I had the same problem on my '95 SET. It took me about 2.5 hours total and I hardly ever work on my car.
I just went to the dealer, sweet talked them into giving the instructions,(They are supposedly not allowed to give you the instruction sheet..),
I paid my $7.95, invested a couple hours and I was done!.
You don't necessarely have to have the thing re-programmed. I did'nt and it's been working perfect for 3 + years.
Let me know if your dealer doesn't want to let you have the instruction sheet, I'll fax it to you.
As I said before, I am about average as a DIY guy, I hardly ever work on my car, and don't have a lot of tools but did not want to spend $500.00+ to have it done.
I did and it was really straightforward --> just follow the intstructions.
