Hi,
My wife's 900s (1994) is idling a bit high. I removed the plastic (Mann) intake container, to get a better look at the throttle cable. I adjusted the cable to go a bit furhter towrds the idle I am hoping for (1000), and went as far as bending the metal stop back a bit. Of course all this had no effect. Still idling about 1400-1500. Blipping the throttle can (rarely) make it go to 1000. Arbitrariliy it will go to 1000 at a light, but mostly too high. Any thoughts on how to tackle this ? Also how can you short some pins together or something to turn off the check engine light ? It came on before service and a vacuum line was replaced, but its back on again and I can't afford to take it back. $500-$800 every trip.
Thanks
