Could the location in the engine be the Water Pump?

Sounds that it could be the water pump, but I am not sure. On the Turbos, the Water Pump would be where you describe your coolant leak is coming from. I am not sure about your car.

The area where the radiator and the lower radiator hose meet is usually messy. You have the possibility of coolant and/or Power Steering line right above it, leaking. Anyway, I clean that corner often, so I can monitor things more closely.

Back to the WP. The WP O rings wear out with age. If you do not have a record of the WP being replaced, chances are you will need one in due time. The good thing is that it is not too hard to replace and Dean has posted the instructions on how to do this somewhere around this board.
