The pins are removed first, the Haynes manual recommends driving them out using a punch. The spring is removed next. You can get a tool at a part store to help with this. The pads have to be pushed away from the rotor a bit, then they can be taken out, starting with the outside pad. Haynes suggests using a removal tool, but I have never seen one. I think most people use pliers.
I was not able to remove the pins on mine, so the rest was a moot point. One caliper was rusted solid after 8 winters. It had to be replaced recently. The other one is due for a rebuild or replacement soon. The pads on that one have some life left, but appear rust bound to the caliper.
