CRS is usually very good. I'm surprised at this quote...can you ask them why it's so high? Given that you're talking $150-300 in parts and 1hr labor, why $750 total? Usually they're reasonable people, so I'm sure they'd explain to you what's going on. Sounds to me like there has to be something more to the story.
I've had a bad experience with Mecca. The most frustrating part was the guy's total ignorance of synthetic fluids. It took multiple conversations to convince him that MTF-0063 is not the same thing as dino 5W30 motor oil, that they are not compatible, and that I knew the difference. He then proceded to put a different synthetic in that was not compatible with MTF-0063, despite the Saab warning stickers on the car. After all that, the service he did was no cheaper than what CRS quoted.
Any garage can change an O2 sensor. Try Hondaz Zone in Cambridge. They have a guy who used to work at CRS, so they know Saabs. That guy is more of a C900/older Saab guy, so I don't bring my 9-3 to him for major work, but they'll change an O2 sensor for a reasonable price, and they're very honest people. My girlfriend and other people I know use them for their Honda service, and they're really the most straightforward mechanics I've met.
