Lots of expierence with this one .... Posted by Nicholas [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Sleeping in your NG900?, jsj42, Sat, 7 May 2005 19:21:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've slept many a night in the back seat lying across. Most (or maybe least) memorably last new year's eve when the party house ran out of beds. I'm 6'1 and its enough for my fetal-style sleeping position.
Alternatively, my best friend Marc who has a 95 900SE put a futon in the trunk (not sure on size) that he was able to fold and cram into the trunk with the seats up when he wasn't using it. Marc is 6'4 and slept in his car every weeknight for 3 months while he was working an hour and a half from home from 5am to 6pm. He had rigged some 2x4s and plywood to bring up the level of the trunk floor about equal to the brace between the sides of the car. I tried it before he had put the plywood in and I could have slept in it no problem.
If you do this, make sure your sunroof drain tubes are correctly inserted into the hatch drains on each side. Search for posts on this.
Good luck!
PS My girlfriend says to ask if you need some new size 8 Madrock climbing shoes that don't fit her ;D
