Stumbling/detonation?? At mid/high to high turbo...

...boost my engine stumbles/bucks. As this occurs at rather high rpms it is somewhat disturbing (especially when the shifter hit the open ashtray). I pulled the plugs and adjusted the gap, thinking that this might help. It seems to have helped tame the stumbling/bucking for the most part but there is still a little remaining at high boost & rpms.
Gas is 92+ octane always and plugs are just a few months old. One thing I noticed is that they were some type of NGK with the v-groove if that makes a difference.
Any thoughts on what would help keep the power smooth at the top end?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Theo
