I assume you have the V6 engine? Only the V6 have a low oil indicator sensor in oil pan and not very many V6 have it either. I have only seen a few here in the US.
It might be that the sensor start to go bad or that the wire from sensor have starting to short out somewhere.
If you on the other hand are talking about the oil pressure light on the dash (oil can symbol) it might be something serious going on with the oil pressure and you should have it checked out as soon as possible.
