thanks for your prompt response, however all vac lines are new, nonconstricted and where they should be...after you posted yesterday went out and checked all vac lines again..tried to start car, started but immediatly died...wouldn't start again, battery sounded strong...tried again after a couple of hours still wouldn't start...took the pos battery cable off for 15 min ...put the cable back on and started her right up...ran very well on the way home..got home shut her off waited 10 min and restarted her...shut the car off went in for the night..came out this morning and she wouldn't start...took the battery cable off waited 15 min...there was no magic this morning...cranked and cranked but no start...battery still sounds strong, I can hear the fuel pump kick on and I can hear the DIC buzzing/cleaning after a non successful attempt at starting...where do I go from here?? why did taking the pos cable work yesterday and not today? did it reset a sensor or was it just a coincidence it worked? could this be a crankshaft position sensor problem??
please help..home waiting on ride and missing work..but still loving my saab, sort of..
