Door window external seal popping up

Hi,
I have a 3 door Saab 900S and every so often I have to push down the external window seal. It goes up in a bow and looking from inside is
does not sit down like the passengers ie nice parallel with the inner seal.
I have looked up my WIS and EPC and can find little description P/N except
in the WIS:-
WIS Section 8 Body,climate control system
-> Glass, windows and mirrors
-> Front door, replacement of window glass
3. Remove the external window seal, secured with clips at the rear.
7. Fit the external window seal.
Note:- A rubber mallet may be needed here.
My question:- Does the seal have internal clips embedded in the rubber and the rubber mallet is needed to fully attach the seal. thank in advance.
Cheers - Martin Barnes - New Zealand
