Viggen Drain plug

Question for those of you who change your own oil. The past two times I have tried to change my own oil I have rounded the head of the drain plug trying to loosen it up. Anyone ever have this problem. I believe it's a 13mm. I get under the car and just can't move the plug no matter how hard I push. Then as I'm pushing the socket slips off and rounds the head. Lucky for me drain plugs are cheep :) I would prefer to do the oil myself, so please don't give me the old let an expert do it. Thanks all.
