I recently made a trip up to Roberti's to look at a couple of cars after learning about them through TSN classifieds, and visiting their web site. They have a pretty amazing operation, and the staff (from sales to mechanics) were very "down home," nothing but professional, and seemed committed to keeping the Saab dream alive. They had over 125 Saabs on the lot (and nothing but Saabs), and Lou Roberti indicated they turn over between 50-75 cars each month. They buy nothing but high quality used Saabs (of all eras) either at auction or those coming off of lease. As an authorized service center, lots of folks were coming in and out for service on the cars. I had a chance to speak with a few customers while waiting, and heard nothing but raves about the operation. Although their prices may be on the top end (close to dealer blue book on most cars and not very negotiable), they stand by any of the vehicles they sell and seemed completely committed to customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately, I did not find the exact car I was looking for, but would not hesitate to buy from them (even paying the higher price). Although they are hundreds of miles away from where I live, they indicated (had I purchased a car) they would cover any problems that arose during their warranty period by a local Saab mechanic. My experience suggests you can't go wrong purchasing from them if they have the car you want.
