For what it's worth, I "tried" the "navigator" route for my wife's 9-3 conv. Her Saab is a stick, so hands free was a requirement. I tried two of the cig lighter products, they were horrible. Low volume and a constant clicking in the back ground...not due to the network because when the phone was taken out of the cradle the call quality improved substantially. The Nokia option is reasonable cost wise, the cark-91 is available with a $25 rebate and can be had for around $100, the Saab interface cable is $13, and the mounting pod is $37. An antenna is around $35. This puts the equipment cost at less than $200. I have been using the nokia kit for over 2 years in my truck, but am moving it to my wife's 9-3 (after I get a few installation issues resolved). The nokia kit is fabulous. It provides a ground out to mute radios equiped as such. It also turns on with the ignition key and turns off (after a 20 sec delay) when the ignition is switched off. Sound quality is fantastic through the nokia speaker.(I can only imagine what it will sound like when run through the SID system). Perhaps your experience will be favorable, mine was not.
Cheers,
Bill
