Be careful! I just checked NADA guides website and they have no data for the Viggen. Up until several months ago, neither did Edmunds.
I put in your mileage information into Edmunds.com (they now list the Viggen) and the Tradein was about 21K with retail being at 25K - I 100% agree that should be about right. However, with a low production model like what you have, it's pretty much what's someone's willing to give you for it and how bad that person wants one. 15K is ridiculous, though, I'll say that much!
Let's imagine this picture - there were only 400 imported into the US for '99 (and you and I have 2 of them), so how many trade transactions do you think the guides could have data on? Not many. Of course a dealer is going to use that to HIS advantage saying that you have an undesirable car that isn't even listed as any extra cost over a regular SE, but it definately should be!
