The life of either pad will vary based on driving habits and transmission type. If you have a 5spd manual and you drive a lot on the highway and downshift (like myself) you will probably get 100k + out of the factory pads and 50K + out of the Greenstuff pads. If you have an automatic and drive a lot in the city you may only get less than half that.
These are just estimations...I have never wore out (completely) a set of brake pads. I would usually end up changing them out of boredom. My Acura Legend had 115K miles on it and the pads had about 40% left. It really depends!!!
If you factor in the aggrevation of cleaning you wheels, the added stopping power of the Greenstuff pads and the fact that they do not damage your rotors....I would say that they are a sure winner! You will definately notice less dust and better stopping.
By the way....the pads are $89.00 per set.
