I got my 99 9-3 from Island Acura/SAAB in Wantagh. The salesman there is Cosmo. I also looked at Smithtown VW/SAAB. I went with Island SAAB because their price was a little lower than Smithtown's (Island gave me an extra $1000 off b/c of my color choice, apparently Cayenne Red wasn't a hot seller) I got the impression that Smithtown doesn't really budge much on price, the salesman said "Its a SAAB, we don't have to"...which could not be farther from the truth.
As far as service goes, I think that Smithtown has the edge. At Island SAAB the people at the service desk are very polite, and I would say that they do competent work. However, at Smithtown SAAB, despite be what appears to be a smaller dealer, there seem to be many cars waiting for service, and the service bay is very large and seems clean...and u can basically see them working on your car as the office is basically in the bay, which is nice. On the otherhand, Smithtown does not give loaners (maybe b/c I didn't buy it there)
Other dealers include KARP, Garden City, North Shore, and Storms. Now, Smithtown and Storms are the only dealers in Suffolk, but there are many in Nassau, which may explain why they seem more willing to deal in Nassau.

One more thing, When I got my car there was sap damage on my door....The back lot at Island SAAB has some trees that seem to drop sap, If you go with Island SAAB, check the car over.

lemme know what color you get, maybe I'll see you on the road :) Ever drive on RTE 347??
