Nu Finish is total crap. It doesn't come off. It leaves streaks like crazy. I know what I'm doing. I used to detail cars going through college. Use Nu Finish and take a close look at the paint under a flourescent light. yikes! Consumer reports are morons as usual.
My favorites are the Meguires and the Zymol.
Meguires #26 paste.
This one is hard to use but works very well. It lasts the longest I've seen and, speaking from the time I worked in autobody, is very difficult to remove from the paint if you're trying prep a car to be painted. It dries clear which is very nice and doesn't glob up in the nooks and crannies. You need to make sure the paint is in fine shape before using this. Use Meguire's #2 fine cut cleaner or equivelent.
Zymol liquid.
This is easy to use. It goes on fast. It shines nice. It comes off fast. It cleans the old paint off while you wax. It doesn't last as long. It dries white and can end up in the nooks and crannies. Don't dare get it on the black trim. I still use it once in awhile but for those big spring and fall waxes, I'll use Meguires.
Hope this helps,
Bill
