If you follow the pin-out diagram, you should be fine

When I wired my DIN cable to run to the amp I added for the door speakers, I Followed the pin-out in Richard Bevan's 900/9-3 Audio Guide (along with some other tips posted here last fall), and it worked fine. The only thing was I found that the power-on signal couldn't sustain enough juice to keep my amp powered on (it would keep shutting off). So, following recommendations here, I got a low-voltage trigger made by Stinger/Peripheral (for about $15) and wired it inline with the power-on signal from the DIN plu. Works great.
