Don't know about the NG900, but my classic 900T went for 180,000 miles before it needed rotors. Of course, I am a firm believer in NOT turning rotors. There is no need to turn a rotor unless it has grooves at least 1mm to 1.5mm (.040-.060") wide, or the surface has become glazed by overheated pads (looks like a glazed porcelain pot), or the the rotor is causing brake pedal pulsations due to 'cupping' of the rotor.
I have heard that the rotors on many new cars (including the NG900) are thinner and should be replaced rather than turned. However, the rotors should last for about two sets of pads.
So if your rotors are in good condition and are above the minimum thickness, there should be no reason not to put a new set of pads on and go with the old rotors. The new pads will take a couple hundred miles to 'seat' to the wear pattern on the rotors so take it easy on the brakes for a bit. Also the rotors can be sanded using a 180-200 grit emery cloth or wet/dry sand paper to 'break the glaze' on the wear surface. This is easily done with a sanding disk on a hand drill. Sanding rotors is a bit controversial as some say it helps and others say it is a waste of time. But a quick surface sand will not hurt anything, even though it might not really help anything either.
