Potential Trading

My best friend just got a 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup with a 5-speed, I drove it. It bit me. The standard tranny bug bit me really hard, and the bump isn't going away just yet. My 2000 9-3SE with auto just doesn't seem to do it anymore for me, I have started to shift it into neutral at stop lights just because I long for my old VW Jetta with a manny. I have never driven a Saab in stick and I would like to. I was wondering if anybody on this board has a 2000 9-3SE in stick and perhaps would like one in auto. I would, of course, have to practice driving the stick first and see if I do indeed feel the need to switch. So I asked Scott Paterson if I could propose this on the board and he (very generously) said yes. If anybody has a stick that they would like in auto perhaps some sort of trade could be worked out. I have heard stories of people desperate for an auto in lieu of a stick, so perhaps I will find a taker. I would like to make sure that this is not taken as a direct offer, because again I would have to try the stick first. My currect car is a 2000 9-3SE in Cirrus White with tan leather, all the SE goodies, auto tranny, and front and rear heated seats with 8800 miles. Anybody interested feel free to reply or to e-mail me at the address above.
