Here are the options that I can remember (you may want to check
SAABusa.com or edmunds.com for more info):
For the base 9-3 (185hp turbo), you can opt for sunroof, leather package, automatic, and metallic paint (I also think you could get a no cost option of an in dash tape player in place of CD).
For the SE 9-3 (205hp turbo), you can opt for sunroof, automatic, and metallic paint.
SAAB does not offer a manu-matic type transmission (they are overrated if you ask me), but the automatic does have sport/normal/winter modes. I've driven a couple loaner autos and the automatic does an excellent job of keeping the engine in boost and in it's power range. Rumor has it, the 9-3 autos are build by the same company that builds autos for Toyota/Lexus.
As far as the headlight...well they are pretty good as far as I'm concerned. Of course they aren't Xenon lights, but with some good bulbs (sylvania cool blue/PIAA) they were great for me, and I don't see that well in the dark.
If I were you, I'd look for the SE. The Auto climate control and the power seats are worth it....plus you get a little extra Vitamin HP!
