Well I have had adjustments & corrections but this is the first time since
1986 that I can say..My SAAB wouldn't Start....
Parked it at work at 10 am. I had been in and out 3 times this morning
started and stopped the 9 3 several times no hesitations.
At 6 pm leaving work, battery near dead. Interior lights, CD player,
small stuff all worked. I even put the power window down, that was a mistake. No headlights or dash lights upon attempting ignition.
When I shut off this auto, all electrical is suppose to go off except
the security system. So, the wife drove down we ran jumpers to SAAB battery
and after minutes, not immediately, of reving her car, the SAAB started with laboring. Once running it was driven 3 miles to home with no lights or AC.. I shut it off at home and tried to restart. I would have gotten the same response if the battery cables had been connected to a cereal box.. Nothing!
**Even the small red security light on dash will not blink!!!
I am theorizing the follwing:
1. Short draining the battery..
2. Ignition/Key switch not seating in lock position (allowing Driving
lights to stay on..I would not have noticed in Bright Sunlight).
3. Computer Malfunction causing either of above..
4. Gremlins!!!!!

Bringing it to SAAB Dealer today. I will want another battery. I don't believe a battery this far gone will revive sufficently to serve a New
England winter. I will post back. This is one auto, with auto timers
and shut offs, where the dealer can't say.."You must have left the
lights"..
