turbocharger upgrade / heat control

Hi guys, Mike R here, it's been awhile but some of y'all may remember me as the guy who was getting some track time in his modified 9-3 last year. Anyway, summer's here and I'm suffering through 100-plus degree days again. This made me think about how to lower intake temperatures, especially since my car (running 19 psi) is suffering from heat soak during lapping sessions (decreased power and boost pressure due to heat).
Option No.1: water injection. Anyone have any experience with this?
Option No.2: intercooler upgrade. This is a no-brainer, no-downsides upgrade.
Option No.3: turbocharger upgrade. Abbott now has available a Mitsubishi turbocharger upgrade. The larger turbo is standard on the 9-5 Aero. Benefits: lower intake temperature because the turbo generates less heat to produce the same amount of boost. Boost stays strong to redline. Those of you running high boost know that from 4000 - 6000 rpm, power tapers off a little with the stock turbo.
Downsides: turbo lag, and cost. Anyone have experience with a turbo upgrade like this one? I know a lot of you guys think Abbott is pricey, but I've always had great experience with their customer service and quality control. Plus, the kit comes with all the hardware, including a port-matched exhaust manifold.
Anyone with experience in turbo upgrades, your opinion is welcomed. Anyone who wants to warn me about voiding my warranty, don't bother.
