Cylinder Misfire -- Engine Light

After buying a used 99' 9-3 T, 5spd, 50K (leased in 6/98), I experienced some "bucking" and hesitation in the engine. The engine light went on after a few episodes (within 3 days). The dealer ran the computer and it said that cylinder 3 misfired. He replaced the spark plugs. 3 wks later the same thing happened only the car nearly stalled. The computer read, "random misfire" this time and he replaced the direct electronic fuel injection unit (very simple). Driving home, the same thing has happened again. He did all this free of charge since I bought the car a month days ago. Are there other things here? I searched this bulletin board for various problems and seem to find questions around fuel type, spark plugs, ECU, etc. Would a fuel filter be in order? How about spark plug wires? I will call the dealer/mechanic again. He's a small dealership and I don't have a SAAB warranty. I bought a warranty, but I'm not sure if it covers the problem here. I just looking for some ideas/experience. Would running the AC (it's been very hot/muggy in CT) cause any issues? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
