...but now the sliding armrest top is a little too bulky to flip back to expose the drink holder. Besides, if I did that, what would I rest my arm on? :-)
By process of elimination, I have had to use the cup holder in the dash. While it is not as sturdy as I would like, I have just learned to be careful. I have one of those travel coffee mugs with a tapered bottom, a locking lid, and a sturdy handle. With some practice, I have become pretty good at getting it in and out of the dash cupholder with minimul trouble. The locking top helps prevent accidental spills. The only major downside is you can't insert or remove a cassette (or CD, I would assume...I have the cassette head unit) with the travel mug in the cup holder.
